Role overview

Finance Systems & Change Assistant Analyst - £28-34K

To assist in maintaining and developing VSO’s finance software and data systems and processes. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the Group and International Finance team and co-ordinate changes and developments.

Act as a key contact for Group & International finance staff to log technical problems and queries on the Finance RDS, resolving issues directly where possible, and following up with VSO’s SUN support provider as necessary.

Provide application support and training to VSO staff in the use of all finance software, including the development of processes and report. eg Q&A reporting.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

Strong understanding of the SUN 5 system structure, systems administration, including User Manager.

Experience of working with key SUN functions, such as Analysis Dimensions, Journal Presets and Transfer Desk.

Experience of Q&A version 10, including Report Designer.

Studying a financial qualification or with a commitment to a future career in Finance.

Strong IT skills, including accounting and reporting packages and especially Excel.
