Role overview
To strengthen, scale and innovate VSO resilient livelihoods programmes globally through effective and transformative engagement with the private sector. To form a bridge and window between livelihoods Core Programme Area (CPA) and purpose driven companies.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Essential Criteria:
* Significant experience of Resilient Livelihoods within International Development context
* Significant experience of engagement and account/relationship management of companies in international development work around livelihoods issues
* Strong understanding of contemporary trends in corporate social responsibility and shared value approaches particularly in terms of corporate volunteering and livelihoods
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
* Effective communicator, influencer and networker at senior levels, both verbal and in writing, with the ability to provide a compelling case for support.
* Ability to deliver against targets and Key Performance Indicators.
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
* Ease in building and maintaining good working relationships and able to confidently operate at senior leve ls internally and externally.
* Ability to analyse, prioritise and strategise in relation to donor information, advising/reporting to senior staff.
* Excellent administration and organisational skills with ability and experience of prioritizing, working to deadlines
* Ability to prepare compelling proposals and reports, demonstrating needs, impact and social return for corporate donors.
* Demonstration of the team working skills needed to work collaboratively with others across an international organisation
