Role overview
VSO is undertaking a carbon footprint audit in order to measure and report on the environmental impact of its global operations and programmes, and provide recommendations for how VSO can act on these findings to improve sustainability going forward. This role will support an external consultant in conducting the carbon audit and environmental impact assessment.

In this role, you will be working alongside the appointed consultant to ensure that they have access to the appropriate information and that the project meets its overall objectives in a timely manner. You will also work with the project lead and the consultant to understand and translate the findings of the carbon audit and environmental impact assessment into action points to reduce VSO’s environmental impact.

This role is for a fixed term contract for 3-6 months. We are looking to appoint immediately.

Skills, qualifications and experience
* Recognised project management qualification, or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working across multiple locations.
* Ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner.
* Experience of collecting and analysing data.
* Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
* Sound IT skills including data management and reporting tools.
* Experience of desktop research and data analysis.
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
